Lydia Schnitzer graduated in 2010 as a Digital and Print Media Designer from the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. While attending school, she worked at a Cologne, Germany based ad agency. Her work consisted of designing layouts for web and print, logos, pictures, graphics, typography and flash animations as well as preprocessing for print and web, photography, developing marketing strategies and coordinating advertising efforts and customer pitches.
She developed a passion for fashion and editorial photography and high end retouch while working with her friend and classmate Victoria at her studio. Freelance opportunities deepened her skills for print medias and broadened her knowledge in HTML and CSS programming.
In 2012 Lydia moved to Dallas, TX where she worked for a high fashion domestic company. Her responsibilities where preparation of print material, packaging and presentations, content managing of the website, designing web banners, ads and patterns for fabrics and embroideries as well as product photography.
New opportunities brought Lydia to West Kentucky where she is currently working at a sign company. There, she is responsible for the design and production of signs and advertisement efforts, logo design, web design and development, design and application of vehicle wrappings, public and customer relations and accounting.
Between work and motherhood, Lydia takes on freelance projects. In her free time, she likes to paint and draw, play the guitar, photography and swing dance.
